Lilly's birthday party!

We celebrated Lilly's first birthday party with her friends and family before the B family moves to Arizona!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! I am going to miss Stacy. And Grace is going to miss Lilly... we were getting really good at being shopping partners.
The pictures turned out blurry- and I was talking too much to get any good shots- but here are Lilly and Gracie together. Lilly is walking like a pro now. Super cute.

Here is a picture of Grace and Lilly in February. This was from when I used to watch Lilly. Although, most of the time Lilly was curled up on ZaZa's lap. Grace would often get jealous of her and didn't want to share her mommy.

Water Park!

Grace always has so much fun at the water park!! This time we went w/ Lindsey and Carson Grace. Grace kept her "Gracie Gyasses" on the whole way there!

Our neighbors across the street had a birthday party for their little girl Haley. She turned 5. We had a nice time, and Grace ran around like she owned the place.

No, I don't have Grace and Diaper Man, yet--- but I would feel a little guilty putting that on the blog. ;-) Here is an awesome one of Grace digging the Flaming Lips. Drew really wants his little girl to be goth- and I really want her to steer clear of the "Hannah Montana's" and any boy bands...

Grace loves Andrew Bird!

Ok- so I know this blog is called LittlefaceGrace... so it should be mostly about Grace... but let me just explain how it all comes back to Grace... First of all, the Flaming Lips song, "Do you realize" is on Grace's video montage, because she has the "most beautiful face"- CONNECTION. And I discovered Andrew Bird while watching Jack's Big Music show last year with Grace. http://youtube.com/watch?v=7HmkLu24w2o She loved him and so did I! She really enjoys listening to him and she even imitates his head movements. She does it all the time. So cute... Compare!

Flaming Lips Pics

Ok! Our car died on the way to the show- but we just left it and got a ride... we couldn't deal with that and miss our FLAMING LIPS CONCERT!!! Poor Civic.
What a show!! It was amazing. I can not believe we got to see them. It was just incredible. But very hot and sticky... and very crowded. I was armpit level with most of the other fans, so I started feeling a little ill.
Drew picked me up a few times so I could see, and so I could get fresh air!
Leah was there- and we finally saw her twd the end of the show.
Me, Drew, Tracy, Leah, and Nathan. Nathan saved the day and helped out with our transportation problem.

What a weekend. Seriously. I can not believe I got to see 2 of my favorite artist in one weekend. It was beyond amazing. Andrew Bird was intimate and sweet- heavenly... and Flaming Lips was crazy wild fun. You should have seen Drew dancing.

Oh my goodness. I had one of the biggest treats of my life tonight! I got to see Andrew Bird in concert. He is a genius. GENIUS. I just wanted to pass on my excitement... it was such a sweet sweet sweet sweet night.... I was in the very very front next to the stage, and just sat their adoring him!! I love his awesome talent, and his mannerisms too. I highly recommend that you buy everything up that has his name on it... and soak... it... up. Enjoy! I will upload some pictures and videos ASAP- but now I have to go to sleep.

Great Uncle and Great Aunt visit

We went to Atlanta on Saturday to see Uncle Bill and Aunt Linda. (Uncle Bill is Drew's father's brother) Uncle Bill was there for a convention/meeting with the water board... and it was a great meeting point. Grace was glad to run around the hotel lobby after the car ride there.

We went to the top of the Westin Hotel... floor 72! There was a really neat observatory and museum up top. Grace ran and ran in circles, and she really enjoyed looking through the telescope with Uncle John.

I love this picture. The Golightlys!! Grace is having fun with Uncle John, Drew is hiding in the back, April looks beautiful and happy, and Linda and Bill are posed nicely for the shot. LOVE IT!
HAHAHAHA!! Grace grabbed ALL of Drew's french fries at the Hard Rock Cafe and tried to stuff them all in her mouth... Uncle John is hilarious!

Amusement park!!!

What a fun day! Grace went to the water park today with Peyton and Amanda for the first time. She had a BLAST!! I didn't get any pictures of our trip during the day- but we went back again tonight to the amusement park. Stephanie invited us to come with her work event. We had such a nice time.

I used to work with Stephanie at the SouthTrust. We met Crystal and John at a mutual friend's birthday party, and John later worked with Drew at AmSouth... and now Stephanie and Crystal work together as financial gurus. That is the nutshell version of my connections. Love these girls... ahem... women. (BTW- Stephanie is my personal photographer!!!!!! See slideshow from previous post)
