A day at the Zoo!

We took Grace to the Birmingham Zoo Sunday. It brought back some great memories from when I worked there. It also has come a long long way since I have been there. Grace enjoyed the sprinklers at the Children's Zoo.

Grace has never liked using her stroller. She wants to walk walk walk. I was a little worried about her walking too much since she has been having some cold/allergy issues, but she handled it like a champ.

Did I tell you Grace can write her name now? Ok, so another Grace wrote that...

Beware of the Dog!

Grace and Junebug!! (or Junejug as Grace calls her) Junebug belongs to the M family, and Grace just adores her. "Junejug, come on, come on Junejug."

Chit chat

Grace is starting to chit chat with us and her toys quite a bit. She has her figurines talk to each other saying, "hi" "how you doing?" "where is Mickey Mouse?" It is so fun to hear & watch her as she grows. I wanted to share two cute things she said/did today. Drew and I took Grace to a park where she did her share of sliding, jumping, playing, etc. But the swings. Today... the swings! The swings. She went nuts over the swing. She rode on the swing for at least 15-20 minutes straight. Drew pushed her, and with each and every single swing she screamed, "weeeeee" I mean, she did NOT stop. It was so adorable. We would ask her if she was ready to stop, and she would answer, "not done, weeeee!" Occasionally she would laugh and say, "Tickle tummy!!"

On the way home today she said, "Mommy! Daddy! Gracie in back car." Drew and I were talking to each other, and I guess she wanted to be sure we knew that she was back there too!!

Just wanted to share!

Papa! The Beekeeper!

Papa went to his neighbor's house and helped spot a queen bee!!!
Sorry the pictures are small, they were e-mailed to me, and this was as big as I could get them. Grace loved seeing Papa with the bees. ( She just saw the pictures, she wasn't there. )
